A simple nerd from West Virginia that got his start in the tech industry through a little company called XBlock Systems, LLC. After getting out of high school and beginning college seeking a Bachelors in IST/CIS, I began work as a Customer Care Manager helping customers remove malware from their nearly destroyed PC. It was fun helping people and getting a look at some of the nastier viruses and awful situations people put their computers through. Not so long after I began actively studying the behavioral tendencies of malware and how it spread, we were acquired by Facetime Communications – May 24, 2005.
I’ve done a fair amount of security work in the last several years for Facetime Communications with my collegeaue Chris Boyd a.k.a. Paperghost. Check out my Security Blog section to see some of the blogs I’ve contributed for Spywareguide.com!
I’ve also contributed much to a new initiative to block applications and potential threats in real-time before they have a chance to attempt to infect a machine. COOL!
Geez, what else do you put on a poorly named website? Oh well…I’m sure I’ll think of something.
